The Secret That The Little Boy Kept
A sound that appeals to all.........
Next-Gen IndustrialNoir defines a "post-Industrial" sound by taking the raw energy, wall-of-noise guitar and machined electronics of predecessors like Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Front 242 and others and combines it with new millenium manditories - melodic vocals, intelligent lyrics, layers of loops, hooks and virtuoso drumming to create something entirely new. Lo-Fi creates a genuine mood with Noir - easily transitioning from haunting (Animate...) to driving (Black Karma and Salvo).
This is one to build your collection around.

try not to sing along, I dare you.The more you listen to this album, the more you love this album. Buy 10 CD's and give them out to all your friends.
A wonderful exploration of pop-like musicEvery song on the cd is fairly emotionally charged, but light as far as the rhythm and volume. It's great to listen to if you're interested in deep lyrics and meaning above speed or simple loud, catchy tunes (not that there's anything wrong with loud, catchy tunes.)
Everything on this cd seems like it's a venture into the unknown, and out of all the music I've heard, nothing is quite the same as this. It's not different in a bad way, not at all, it's different in a profoundly good way. If emotion, witty lyrics, and calm pop are your thing, you can't go qrong with this piece of music.

Another excellent disc by this unacclaimed artistThis man is criminally under-rated, but that may not be so bad. If he got too popular, the label could compromise his wonderful, iconoclastic style.

Execellent debut
Da Shiznit!
An excellent indie debutThe singer has an extremely unique voice - like no other in this genre. The guitarist's phrasings as well as the drummer's use of the sidestick are equally original, helping to set this band apart from the typical alternative rock group. Not too heavy, but the group has a lot of energy. Best new band in a long time.
