Industrial music review The most under-rated American synth group in history.
Seven Red Seven went down as the most under-rated and under appreciated synth group in America. From their 1994 release, this excellent cover of the popular Stevie Wonder hit has four great remixes and every one is worth listening to repeatedly! Look for the full album, "Bass State Coma" (later re-released I believe as "Liquid") to hear the absolute height of synth-pop perfection.

Industrial music review Only Texans can rock like this
This CD will blow you out of your shoes. These guys make Rob Zombie look like Pat Boone. If you don't have a religious experience listening to this one, you need a hearing aid

Industrial music review Good song with great Live songs
Okay, so 'Take a Picture' isn't your typical Filter song. Doesn't really fit in with all of their other material, but what the hell, every band has to have a semi-acoustic radio friendly track. The other two tracks are where the life of this cd comes from. Two of Filter's best singles recorded live from New York City, 'Welcome to the Fold' and 'Hey man, Nice shot'. The latter of the two is the best because you can get an real good idea of how into the music Filter's fans are during live shows. In a Word excellent. This disc also contain the music video for 'Take a Picture'.

Industrial music review More Inspired Pounding and Growling from Laibach!
A single well worth owning if you're a Laibach fan, enjoy EBM music, or Military inspired techno chock full of thumpy teutonic goodness.
Similar overall to their work on Kapital and Nato, but more focused and properly polished. The trademark growling vocals are present, but upbeat, club-friendly thumping dominates this song in most mixes.
The 5 remixes here actually sound different enough to be worth playing all the way through.... at least 2 of which will doubtlessly fight to be featured on club floors around the world.
Not a full meal, but a worthy snack from the "virtual State In Time" brains of Laibach. Highly recommended!

Industrial music review absolutely amazing...
This was my first Psychic(k) TV purchase, and surprisingly from the clearance of a BMG store; which further pushed my love for Psychic(k) TV as I hate commercial efforts, or at least most of them. I started this review about 15 minutes ago then came back and edited it because I decided you shouldn't need a review to choose whether or not to buy anything by Genesis P-Orridge, or including Genesis P-Orridge, and besides, mine was around 8 paragraphs already and only 1/3 of the way through... So just buy the album.

Industrial music review True Industrial
This ia a true classic in the industrial genre, full of buzzing, whirring, bleeping, and all that wonderful "noise." My personal favorites on the EP are Theremin (club version) and Voices (octoped). I'd reccommend that any true fan of industrial buy this CD.

Industrial music reivew 'Succour-Terrascope Benefit Album'-various artists(Flydaddy)
4 1/2 stars.Nice 2-CD budget release that was put out to benefit the printed 'zine Ptolemaie Terrascope when it was in financial trouble.I never even knew about this title, until recently a friend recommended it to me.And with it's semi-plain looking cover,I wasn't all THAT thrilled about it at first.Lesson for today:NEVER judge a CD by it's cover.'Succour...' has a total of 35 songs with a duration of close to 2 1/2 hours. Was amazed at several of the bands on this 2-CD that UNTIL now was simply a strange name I've often seen in stores, magazines or even local papers. Now,I think I may even add a few of these bands to my 'want list'.Like the Linus Pauling Quartet,Current 93,Olivia Tremor Control and Nurse With Wound.Several of the bands on this fabulous pressing I am familiar with would be Bevis Frond,Green Pajamas,Flying Saucer Attack,Sun Dial,Bardo Pond and Porcupine Tree.'Succour...' MORE than succeeds in bringing the listener a great collection/mix of psychedelic, experimental and indie rock artists that he/she would may have not otherwise gotten to know about.I've heard that pretty much all these cuts are exclusive to this release.Ideal to play late night in any Borders or store as such.A must-have.

Industrial music review Diverse, quality psychedelia
Whoa! Unexpected bonanza of creative sounds and artistic visions. This demonstrates a focus on music for music's sake, and not for the sake of moving product. The chord progressions and harmonics of the bouzouki(!) by Nurse with Wound (whatta name!) is mesmerizing, evoking an (east) Indian effect. Many bands here, such as the Porcupine Tree take you for a breathtaking ride with squalling guitar solos that are an organic part of the song, not tacked on afterward. Bands like the Flyte Reaction remind us how to integrate pop hooks into rock music with integrity. And this is a double CD with 35 tracks/35 bands - you WILL find a lot to like here.

Industrial music reivew One good song
Rematered early CXS album. OK, but nothing too exciting. Marilyn My Bitterness is an excellent tune, but ends up being the only decent one on the CD.

Industrial music review definitely $$$ well spent!
I own the original release of this album, which is quite an extraordinary collection of telemetries and melodies, but the sound quality of the old version was not quite as good as I'd wished for. This new version of the album is great, the sound quality is very sharp and clear, and makes the songs all that much more fun to dance to. "Walk Away" is all that much more haunting. There are also a few little extras on the CD... a music video, and a flash gallery of ancient band pics! New life has been breathed into an already amazing album!
