Industrial music review Pigface rules
I saw this tour too. I love this avant garde stuff. The thing I especially love about Pigface is that when these guys leave their respected acts to get together and do this there seems to be some sort of hypnotic synergy. There are very few bands this hard I can listen to with my headphones at work and concentrate at all. Time seems to fly and things seem to get done with this music on.

Industrial music review Diverse and Hard!
A great blend of late 80's/early 90's EBM (a la Front 242, Bigod 20, etc) with modern electro and Detroit techno. Totally suitable for the dancefloor on either an electro or industrial club night. Highly Reccomened.

Industrial music review Pleasant surprise!
I bought this album after hearing "Crazy Girls" on the Ladytron back to mine compo Softcore Jukebox. When I buy a CD for one song I am almost always burned, but Tubed actually delivers.

There are some really good songs on this album. What's nice is that instead of hammering at technical prowess or "sounding cool", Codec & Flexor have started with what on the surface are some pretty catchy pop tunes, and have added a layer of complexity and sound that go beyond the standard fare.

The standout tracks for me are "Robot Funk", "Candy Cancer", "Crazy Girls", and "Time Has Changed". The other tracks on the album are pretty solid as well.

Industrial music review Turbocharger
CHAOTICA's Turbocharger...Where to begin. Maybe by first saying its a blast of energy thats yet to be heard in music. Songs such as "Turbocharger" and "Ultra Violence" will leave you breathless! Combining influences of Dance, Industrial and Metal, they accomplished what few other electronic musicians have accurately done: mixed their influences into an orignal, unique sound. From start to finish, this is an amazing, powerful cd you will regret passing up! Get this hybrid of cyber-metal cd today!

Industrial music review Goth's undead!
This album is just full of goth goodness. The first half mostly features ethereal, swirly, atmospheric songs with female vocals, while the second half is more danceable and generally features a male voice. There is a definite contrast between the two sounds, but as I enjoy both, I really love this album. "Dark Splintered Heart" was a great song on the "Veils and Shadows" EP, but the remix here is one of those songs I can't resist dancing to. This band is one of the contemporary acts proving that goth didn't die out with the 80s.

Industrial music review when i'm mad i listen to UNIT: 187
The reason I love this band so much is becuz everything they say in their lyrics is strictly emotionless. "I don't care, you mean nothing to me." This is the cd I listen to when I'm mad at humanity. The music is awsome. Techno meets Metal. A cross between MINISTRY and FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY. If you're mad at humanity buy this cd.

Industrial music review Like a Startling Revelation
Like a startling revelation the "Trio's" final studio recording delivers on the promise made in earlier recordings. Once buttonholed (which happens upon first listening) by the reflective and meditative quality of the music you have neither the wish nor the will to tear yourself away. This is experimental music at it's finest.

Industrial music reivew A good introduction to industrial music
I bought "The Very Best of Industrial Revolution" at the start of what would become my obsession with industrial music a few years ago. It would also be my first exposure to great bands like Skinny Puppy, Project Pitchfork, Razed in Black, and Front Line Assembly. This really helped usher in a new era for me. All the songs on this one disc compilation epitomizes what industrial music is all about. The highlights for me were Razed in Black's "What's Fair". The song itself really holds up well and is very fitting in this politically charged climate today. Although a bit different from what I have heard from RiB recently, the song itself is still good. The melodies and vocals are outstanding. Front Line Assembly's "Epidemic" was also the first song I had been exposed to and I loved what I heard. The abrasive, searing industrial beats is classic FLA. There was not one song on the cd I couldn't find that I didn't like. This was and is a great introduction to one of music's most underrated genres.

Industrial music review The Very Best of Industrial Revolution
This compilation signifies the very essence of industrial music and shows the evolution of it through the years (1986-2000) In all honesty i'm very weary of these Cleopatra Compilations, but this was a great justice to the industrial music genre. It includes tracks from great industrial bands; Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Laibach, Test Dept. and more. Frankly I think this is a must have for anyone who is a fan of any of these bands or for someone who is just now getting into the beauty of industrial/metal. The best tracks on this CD are those of Front Line Assembly - Epidemic; Download - Mothersonne; and Psychic TV - Haunted. The roots of the music is the replication of mechanical machines banging and grinding, and the music lives up to the name. If you read this review do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially if you are a fan of Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Die Krups, KMFDM or any other major mainstream industrial bands.
