I have all three of "The Best of Silver Wave" collections. This one is very energizing, hence the name "The Sun" If you like tribal, instrumental, or sound scape music, this is an excellent choice.

This is the best New Age CD I have ever listened to. If you are wanting something peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing, BUY THIS!

This is most definitely the best CD I own. Ever since I heard her Deux album from a good friend in New York, I've been following her stuff. Her Oui album was not that hot; but, this one is just amazingly fantastic. It's perfect for unwinding, and entertaining! Superb, indeed! YOu will most definitely not regret this buy, especially if you're a francophile.

The US Under the Milky Way compilation focused on the obvious choices. This best of includes a couple of b sides and an unusual selection of album tracks. The hits are here of course but so are the critical album tracks.

Complaints, I have a few. A box set is long over due. There isn't as much from Heyday as I would have liked or Remote Luxury. Still, overall this is a fine collection.

Despite Kilbey's recent bust for heroin, I still have considerable respect for him and the band. Hopefully he will find his way again. They've always gone their own way (even when that meant producing less than stellar albums) regardless of the hit making machinery that surrounds the music biz.

Personal stand out track for me is Feel from the underrated Priest=Aura album and Metropolis from the terrific Gold Afternoon Fix album.

Culture Club had some of the tightest cuts back in the day."Time Clock of the Heart is my Cut from them,Miss Me Blind,Do you really want to Hurt Me,etc.. are still Slamming cuts."victims" was a solid cut as well.

I gave this cd 5 stars because Ultravox is my favorite band and I love all the songs on here. But . . . I'm having slight difficulty figuring out the purpose of this cd. It isn't as if this offers anything new. These tracks can be found in many other UV album cd's and greatest hits cd's. Look around. There are several other UV compilation cd's on the market. This just reaks of the record company trying to make a buck by throwing together yet another UV mix of songs. THIS OFFERS NOTHING NEW.

If you want to buy only one stray cats cd, this is the one. It contains the best tracks from their first three original lps, ten from the first record, 4 from "Gonna Ball", 3 from "Rant�n�Rave" plus a terrific a-cappella version of "I Won�t Stand In Your Way", a very good live version of "C�mon Everybody", plus "Build For Speed" from their first US Release. It�s fast and furious rock�n�roll and rockabilly with catchy tunes and great guitar stuff. Gonna ball and have fun !

There are a lot of compilations of The Thompson Twins out there, but this is the one that really offers the true greatest hits. What the songs are concerned: they are all true classics with as the highpoints the tracks from the 'Into The Gap' album (The Gap, Doctor Doctor, Hold Me Now, Sister of Mercy). That said:the other songs are worth listening too. Especially 'Get That Love' deserves a special mention, the last song that truely captured the Thompson Twins magic.

Last year I purchased over $6,000 worth of CD's, and this one still stands out as one of the best buys. The mixes are smooth and the song selection is filled with both popular party/dance tunes as well as some less popular ones that really rock. It includes dances mixes of Abba, Beach Boys, and The Beatles that are great for party's and getting people grooving to the beat. Take from a DJ one this one, the price is definately worth it!
