No words can describe my love for this compliation....it's been a weekly listening staple of mine for many years.

Along with Vol. 1, this collection can serve as an excellent introduction to classic British punk rock. Too bad it is out of print. But, even if you own all or most of the material already, it's cool to hear it in this running order. The booklet contains informative bio's of each band. Especially good (IMO) are The Soft Boys, Subway Sect, and Siouxie tracks, but there simply isn't a weak cut on here.

This CD is great, it combines the 12" of Moments In Love, Into Battle (minus original Beat Box) and full length album Whos Afraid on one CD, plus bonus track Close Up (Hop). A must have for any collector.

THIS IS TOTALLY AMAZING!!! FINALLY ... What a great release this is. Again, we have waited far too long for this completely remastered 24-bit-version of the 3rd album Dare. What's more important is that the hard-to-find Love and Dancing album is also included on this single-disc-set. In one word it's PERFECT.
The League's breakthrough-album with the hits Love Action, Open your heart, and ofcourse, Don't You Want Me. It has some more hits, but these 3 are the most important on this one. The whole album is a classic 80's synth-album and deserves a place in musical history. We hear Philip Oakey's warm (!) voice over the tracks as the album takes you to some strange future world in a place where everything SEEMS explainable... (but isn't, ofcourse...). The remixes done a wonderful job on the original versions, especcially on Hard times (which was a b-side!), Love Action, Don't You Want Me (that one in particular!!!) and Open Your Heart... I am so glad that Simon Heyworth did this excellent job of remastering everything on one CD. Hopefully he will also do with the other albums of The Human League: they're all good and worth while remastering. Great choice! You won't regret it!

If you like 1927 you will love this. It a bit less pollished than the later recordings under the new name(1927) but Ithink that it is just as good or even better. So buy it NOW.

When they put this together, they left just 5 album tracks off the list. That's pretty complete. Once again, just the 1st printing of this CD comes with the bonus disc. Subsequent releases just had the 1st disc, so beware!!!

This makes a great companion CD to Men At Work & Friends.
