"Proverbial Reggae" is every bit the masterpiece that "Trenchtown Mixup" is. It is a rare feat for a group to deliver 2 killers in a row, but the Gladiators did it!

Fishbone is flat out the of the great pioneers in funk ska metal punk music. They have put out some great albums ( Fishbone, truth and soul, give a monkey a brain, and reality of my suroundings )and some duds (Chimm Chimms Badass). I suggest this one its the bomb. Buy dis BEATCH

Hey, punks! How old are you? Do you remeber early 70's? If yes, you MUST buy this CD and listen to old hits which sound new! It's pretty cool! You can find a lot of funny cover-versions of hits by Stooges, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Plasmatics, Buzzcocks, Clash, Blondie and others. I found it interesting to guess who's song is playing now. It is the first disk with such cool cover-versions I've ever heard!

This comp has a little bit for everyone... with bands like Limp, Catch 22, the Slackers, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Link 80, and so many more how can you go wrong??? I bought this cd at a local store when it first came out and have been listening to it ever since... It's a must have for anyone into indie music ...

This album is one of my favorite ska albums ever - top 3! Gangster fun is largely unknown in the world of ska and they have been doing it since the '80s - they practically invented the style. Every track is a masterpiece of dark, humorous, melodic ska with a taste of swing influence. If you enjoy The Aquabats, The Parka Kings, Reel Big Fish or Hot Stove Jimmy - you will love Gangster Fun! So, go ahead and take a "date with Destiny", find out why the "Stove has come alive" - Get this album.

If you are a true two-tone fan, you know this British band is a legend. Although most of Bad Manners' cd's/LP's are hard to find, including this (hence the name RARE & FATTY) this is a sure pick-up if you see it. The only negative aspect to the album is it's length, which lasts only 6 songs, and as soon as you open up to their crude ways the album ends.

The Selecter, or should I say Pauline Black (lead vocal) shows she is still very much alive! This album has all great tracks again as if they were written in 1979. I can certainly recommend this album to all SKA lovers.
