I was excited to see that there was a CD of only the "I Like to Move It" song. I expected to hear the (King Julian)lemur's voice on the songs exactly like in the movie, but was dissapointed instead. The CD seems like the kind that a DJ would buy and play at raves. Also, the cover that is shown on Amazon is not the same one on the CD case I ordered. This made me feel suspicous that I was cheated another CD. On the other hand, the songs are all on there, just like posted on Amazon, so that's good, and the songs themselves are fine to listen and dance to . I am a little surprised at the other reviews people gave but If you really like dancing to remixes, then go ahead and buy it!

What more could one ask for...FIVE versions of the song that transformed Madagascar from just a movie to an experience...complete with dancing, singing lemurs. And all of this conveniently on one album for your listening pleasure.

OK...the song is GREAT...and I died laughing during that part in the movie Madagascar. And I guess...the only other thing I have to say is...if you can stand to listen to this song five times in a row then, by all means, go for it...buy the album.

But then again, there's only a very few special people in this world who can listen to that song five times in a row :-)

Some days I'm one of them, when I'm in the right mood. Some days I'm not. Go figure.

Great song, anyways.

I have been crying out for this song ever since I began liking big butts. The words "big ship on the ocean, it's a big titanic" really touch my soul because he's talking about big butts, and there's nothing I like more than a large posterior.

I cry every time I listen to this song. I highly recommend it to all of you softies out there.

This CD is great. The highlight for me is "I Like to Move it". That song is awesome! All the songs are are in great quality. Its fun finding out whare all the songs are in the movie.

This is a great soundtrack, with both insturmentals and classic hits! A perfect addition to your cd collection.

3. Hawaii Five-O-A Classic tv theme song, who knew? Grade:B

4. Boogie Wonderland-The best song on the whole album! Originally released in 1979 by Earth, Wind, and Fire featuring the Emotions. I am a huge Earth, Wind, and Fire fan so this is definetly a treat! Grade: A++++

5. Whacked Out Conspiracy-Cute and cutely, boys. Cute and cutely. Gotta love the penguins! Grade:A-

6. Chariots of fire-The scene with this song, Alex, and Marty is classic! Grade: A

7. Stayin' Alive-The ultimate party song! You cannot deny yourself, you just want to get up and dance! Grade: A

8. Zoosters Breakout-I don't remember where this song is in the movie, but I like the musical arraignment. Grade: B+

9. Born Free-Nice, but I like the version with the singing penguins during the opening credits. Grade: B-

10. The Foosa Attack-Very dramatic, every movie has got to have some like that! Grade: B+

11. Beacon of Liberty-Another dramatic song, "You're on the Jersey side!" Funny! Grade: A-

12. What A Wonderful World- This song always makes me cry! It's so sweet! Thank you Louis Armstrong! Grade: A

This was a CD that I bought for my 4 year old son. He loved the movie and watching him dace to the music at the end of the DVD was a riot. So I got him the CD and I can watch him dance like a monkey and roar like a lion all over the house! I don't know which is more fun - watching him dance - or singing the words to "I Like To Move It". It was definitely well worth it.

If you are looking for the original "I like to move it" from Madagascar, do not purchase this album - it is a hokey knock-off and the rest of the songs are just as bad - way too hip-hop and trashy.
