Great song! This song was featured in a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero TV commercial. Give it a go and you'll be hooked!
Buy this CD even if you have to sell your kid sister!!!This CD fits every mood, situation, and there's a song for almost everyone. Highlights are Techicolor Lover, which will stick in your head, but in a good way, Hope I Just Didn't Give Away the Ending, and Someday We'll Know, which got radio airplay, surprising since the band broke up before the label released it... how sad there'll be no more.
SONGS LIKE THIS SONGS RELATES TO ALOT OF PEOPLEHAD A LOT OF BAD LUCK LATELY AND THIS SONG IS A REAL 'PICK ME UP' KIND OF SONG. IF ANYONE HAS ALL THE LYRICS, I WOULD LOVE TO READ THEM BECAUSE I SEEM TO RELATE TO THIS SONG EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT 14.

its the bestThis is truly an awsome cd. I love it a lot. I think that Nena is just a great artist. I mean, she is one of the only artist that I can honestly say that I love every song on the album. Its really good. I would recommend it to anyone.
Amazing CDI purchased this CD while in Vienna this past summer, and it's an amazing album. It has so many classics but they're redone extremely well. I recommend this CD to everybody!
Die 20 Jahre haben sich gelohnt! It's great that nena is so popular in so many countries! :)
I only recommend the CD, it's really great. Especially I like "Leuchtturm", "Irgendwie irgendwo irgendwann" and also the English version of it featuring Kim Wild.
These 20 years made Nena very important to Germany! Go on, Nena!

Thought provoking folkloreI bought this CD for a single track. A track I remember my late father playing when I was kid. I was extremely pleased to find the entire album a worthwhile listening experience. It's folklore with a message at it's best. It's thought provoking, yet also soothing and relaxing.
Sublime Hispanic ExperienceIf you haven't heard Mercedes Sosa's song, there are some tracks on this compile that will convert you to fandom. This Argentinian woman, whose mixed descenet seems to have supplied her with all the good singing genes, was born in 1935. She has the most marvellous voice, fresh as the dawn and as crystal clear. Particularly moving is 'Gracias a la Vida' (more famously sung by Joan Baez, but Sosa's version is divine). I love this CD and it can lift me out of the doldrums in a wink. If you buy this, maybe also get the 2001 CD of 'Missa Criolla' as the Sosa version is fabulous. Her voice is mellow, but timeless, young-sounding and pure without affectation.
Sosa's voice is the kind that goes into ones soulI don't speak nor understand spanish, yet some songs made me cry and other made me dance or sing out loud.

Alan knows how to keep it realDespite his popularity with Magneto, he didn't use his former's groups name to achieve success. He is music style is far from the sugar-coated ballads of mexican pop. There are a few ballads in this production, but are more up-beat. The style sounds more like Moenia, but his is not a rip-off. He is one of the best Mexican singers in the genre. The songs on this cd are perfect to listen on a calm Sunday afternoon or after work. Give it a try!
WOWAlan has sent my emotions flying. The way he expresses
himself is absolutely beautiful. His voice is so powerful
yet sensual and romantic. I absolutely love this cd, with
"el aire que me das" being my favorite song. This is a
definetely must have pop cd..

Now it's a little late to write my review, but...I got this album last March. It was 2 years ago first I heard Alan's song on the radio. It was "Si pudiera volar" and I was so impressed by that beautiful song. After a while, I could get his album AZUL and listened. All songs are so great and I liked. Especially I like those songs:"El aire que me das", "Volvere volveras""Si pudiera volar""Liuvia""Como un violin"and"Amor de luz". I think the beautiful ballade songs suit him very nicely. His powerful, heartfelt and romantic voice makes us(me and you) feel relieved and courage. You'll like it. To tell the truth, I'd like to get his new album MI REALIDAD as soon as possible.

Honest lyrics, mature themes and solid musicianship distinguish this fine album. The band, based in Zapata, Texas, quickly stood above the herd when it broke through in the mid-'90s with a distinct pop/blues/Norteño sound. Lead singer-accordionist Ricky Muñoz has always sounded like the legend Ramón Ayala, but with the bottom-heavy rhythms and folk/rock melodies injected here, this is not your father's Norteño music. Daring and inspiring, the music pushes the envelope with tension-filled tunes such as "Fuerte No Soy," a bluesy ballad, and "Es Tan Bello," whose folk/pop acoustic opening is like a fresh rain in a staid genre. The first single released, "El Amigo que se Fue," is a tribute song for two band members who were killed in a January 1999 highway accident in Mexico. --Ramiro Burr
Average review score:

A TRIBUTEThis CD includes a song that is dedicated to the memory of two lost band members and a manager. The CD title is also a song which was written by A.B. Quintanilla, Selena's "Queen of Tejano Music" brother. It is a touching CD and at the same time inspiring. I am so glad that the legacy of Intocable will continue.
puro recuerdosi love this cd especially the fisrt 6 songs there the kind that you just wanna play over and over and if you listen to the words man it'll just get you everytime i hear these songs it just reminds me of mexico i hope you enjoy these songs as much as i do
Intocable esta intocable!Cuando se habla de Intocable se habla de un super grupaso! The very best in Tejano/Norteno sound! I f yougot Mex pride andwanna kick sumthin' with bass y un chingo de sonidazo norteno, get this disco, you won't regret it! ....END

- Hong Kong Bar
- Make It Right
Average review score:

The best driving down the street with the top down musicthis is the kind of music that you play so loud you blow out your speakers. You cannot help but dance. Back in the early 70's we shared this album between three apartments and it still takes me back to those days..... Ah yes, Sweet Surrender all over again.
A must have CDGreetings from LA is a classic and must have album, not only for the fans of Tim Buckley but also for those who like good music. Although, it's been years since I listened to the LP for the the first times, the melody, the vocals and the greatness of tracks such as Move with me, Sweet surrender, Get on tot and Get it right remain fresch and unique.
he's gonna mess witchaIt's hard to know how much of the lyrical material on this disc is parody, and how much reflects Tim Buckley's own descent into a tragicly hedonistic lifestyle. Three pictures on the disc portray Buckley holding and wearing a gas mask, and a post card gives us the low-down on how temperture inversions and the presence of millions of cars combine to make Los Angelas infamous as the smog capital of the world. But is the smog merely an allegory for the trademark emphasis on hedonism that also identifies L.A., and the danger this presents to our well-being? Buckley's death from a heroin overdose three years after the release of this disc points to where his own head was turning at about this time, and perhaps his own awareness of how he was polluting his own life. But how seriously can we take any of this when Buckley closes out the disc singing "Beat me, whip me, spank me, make it right again" as the chorus to 'Make It Right'? Can he be serious? The post card on the cover requests 50 copies of the disc for the Apollo Massage Parlor since it "sounds real great to rub downs". More parody? Actually, it probably would be a great rub-down soundtrack! And on the opener, 'Move With Me', Buckley is seemingly talking about messing with another man's wife, but the chorus intones that he wants to "mess witcha, mess witcha, mess witcha mind". I get the feeling Buckley means to mess with our psyche's more than our drives. On the other hand, it's hard to argue with the blatant sexuality of 'Get On Top', and on 'Devil Eyes' we have "I got so tired of meaningful looks, I got so tired of coming up lame". Perhaps he's hinting at the symbolic, while hitting us with a ton of erotic bricks.
Aside from the question of how messed up Buckley was becoming, little else about the disc is in question. This to me is Tim Buckley's finest moment. I owned the original vinyl copy while I was in college, and was greatly taken with the funky rock tones underlying each and every song. 'Move With Me' and 'Get On Top' shake it up the best (and there were plenty of times I pulled this disc out of the liner just to hear these two songs), but every track is a toe-tapper. At this point in my life I'm much more appreciative of the quality of voice that Buckley brings to the numbers. He possesses a noticably wide octave range, and while these songs don't always offer him the opportunity to exercise his cords as much as some of his earlier folk fare did, the high and low notes struck can still be stunning. And however you might experience Buckley's voice, and whether he is being sincere or not, he always manages to at least sound sincere. Perhaps it's part of the ruse...
Even though the lyrics and Buckley's voice will capture most of your attention, there is fine back-up work from Buckley and Joe Falsia on guitars, Chuck Rainey on bass and Ed Greene on drums. While this group supplies the core instrumentation, Buckley finds room to throw in the occasional sax, piano, conga, cello, organ, violin, viola, and the Motown sound on backing vocals from Clydie King, Venetta Fields, and Lorna Maxine Willard on two tracks. Don't expect any of the soft and gentle folk tunes that dominated Buckley's 1960's work. He's sold out his Judy Collins persona for a run at Janis Joplin. Lyrics are not included in the intriguing liner, but can be had at http://www.lyricsdownload.com/tim buckley
Tim Buckley always seemed to be on the outside looking in, and this album was so far-out in its subject matter for 1972 (ironically it was recorded at Far Out Studios in Hollywood... at least that's what it says) it isn't surprising it didn't appeal to a wider audience. Not many performers took the sexual revolution to these heights before or since, whether they were serious about it or not. Whatever you might think of the conscious content however, not hearing this disc will rob you of some of the finest instrumental and vocal sounds produced in the early 1970's. Let him mess witcha mind.

AwesomeEveryone interested should check out grasshoppertakeover.com and get a copy of 'Elephant Dreams'! This is the best CD I have ever heard. Just saw these guys at Ranch Bowl and it could not have been a better show. If you have the chance, check em out live... especially if they play with Lovetap, Anchondo or Pomeroy!
Awesome, just awesomeThis CD is excellent. If you get a chance to see them in concert, go! Curt, Bob, James and Michael are great guys to hang out with. They aren't afraid to talk to their fans and they put on a great set. go to www.grasshoppertakeover.com and check them out.
These Guys Are InspiringI was introduced to this band by a buddy from Lincoln, NE. I had never heard of them prior to this. Their music blew me away!! They have mastered the music and lyrics. It's good to hear they are gaining recognition. They deserve it. Next on my list is to try and get to a live show. Listen to GTO and you'll be happy you did.

Read the fine printBeing born and raised in America with Italian parents, this cd was not for me. If I had known that some nobody was singing these great songs I would have never bought it. Where are Connie Francis, Loui Primo, Dean Martin, Rosemary Clooney, Jerry Vale? These songs where butchered by these people who can't sing! I won't embaress my family by playing this at my wedding.
This is the BEST Italian wedding/party CD out there-don't be fooled by cheaper CDsGRAZIE A DIO for this CD! We are an Italian American family with roots in Southern Italy and Sicily. The songs are beautifully performed and are lively and moving at the same time.
The booklet was an added bonus that helped us with the reception. The author wrote about all the old traditions we remembered as kids growing up in the Italian community. All we had to do is hand the book to the wedding planner, and she knew what we wanted.
We bought all sorts of "Italian Wedding" CDs before we found this one, and this one was by far the WINNER. Okay, it was not the cheapest out there, but you really get what you pay for! Wish we could have saved the money we wasted on all the inferior ones, but we found out about this one only because a DJ friend recommended it.
Can highly recommend to anyone planning an Italian wedding, or any other Italian themed event. It would work for so many happy occasions.
We feel we needed to add our comments, as we enjoyed it so much and wanted to spread the word among our cumpahs. We like the fact this musical group took the old songs and gave them new life.
Viva la musica italiana!

BellisimnoI am a non-Italian trying to plan an Italian themed wedding. This CD was the BEST first step for me. I received the CD many months ago and have been referring to it ever since. Besides GREAT songs, they offer a description of what dance/tradition takes place during each song. My wedding is only two weeks away and I am still refering back to this CD. It has been a true inspiration!!
