Hi, I just bought this cd and it really rocks Latina. Gisselle is one of my favorite Latina singers. She simply has a beautiful voice and an attitude. If you are a fan of hers or Latina Musica -- you will love this cd. Ten beautiful songs that really display her awesome musical talents and energy. My favorites include 'Pesadilla', 'Esa No Es Mejor Que Yo' and 'La Amante'. This cd is from 1995 and I think it is just as good now as it was then. Gisselle rocks Latina Musica.

All the songs are great except the first track. It wouldn't make the cut if it was released from an older album

Although this album never quite reaches the highs of the later 'Breathe', it is still well worthwhile owning. Faith Hill has obviously moved much more towards pop with this album, which is a good thing because now she's producing some of the best pop music around. There's a few real gems on 'Love Will Always Win' which were a sign of what was to come, especially the bouncy 'This Kiss' which still stands out as being one of her best tracks. Other good songs include the sweeping ballad 'Let Me Let Go', of which a country version is also included, and the vastly enjoyable 'Better Days'.

To sum up, this is a solid album with some really sparkling tracks on it, although there is the odd one which doesn't really fit. For instance, the pop formula doesn't work on 'Me' and 'Love Will Always Win'. However, to say that there are only two tracks that aren't too good is an achievement in itself. Plus, there's much to enjoy, not least the best cover version of 'Piece Of My Heart' that I've ever heard. Compared to 'Breathe' this may not be as good, but compared to other pop albums it's really great.

This is one of the greatest compilations of Faith's music. The bonus songs are wonderful. Faith's version of "Love will Always Win" is the best I have ever heard- it touches your soul. The "Let me let Go" movie version is haunting and soothing, and the version of "Piece of my Heart" lets Faith take her own spin on a classic. I love every minute of this CD- nowhere else can you get all her best in one place!

Essentially this is a repackaged version of Faith's 1998 album FAITH, with some bonus tracks. It is still worth owning though. The album was retitled LOVE WILL ALWAYS WIN, and was released in Australia. The title track is one of her best ballads, showing her vocal range, and as one reviewer pointed out, a sign of things to come in the future with BREATHE. There is also a revamped version of her 1993 Janis Joplin cover "Piece of My Heart" a much more edgier rock sounding one than her 1993 country version. There is also the movie version of "Let Me Let Go", and the inclusion of "It Matters To Me". As well included are the hits "This Kiss", the original "Let Me Let Go", and "The Secret of Life". As well from the FAITH album included are her cover of Celine Dion's "I Love You", the Sheryl Crow penned "Somebody Stand By Me", her cover of Becca and Billy's "Better Days", and the fun and upbeat "The Hard Way". Overall they made the FAITH album more pop than it already was with this import, but its still worth owning for the hardcore fan.

This is only my third listening of this album and already I'm battling tears, shivers running down my back. I'm not able to explain the power of this music, it's just unbelievable and the words and the music are in perfect synchronicity, again. Te amo Ana.

I first heard an Ana Gabriel song on the radio and asked my wife, "Who is that ?". My wife is latin and informed me of the artist. I did my research and finally decided to select this CD as my first. Needless to say it wasn't my last. I now have six or seven of her CD's, but I must say this is her best by far. I have recently gotten into Rocio Durcal because some of my latin friends and my wife said they are similar in ways. But when I entered my title for this review, I didn't mean only one of her best, I meant one of the best CD's of all music. I love all types of music. I have clasical, reggae, soul, rock, rap, jazz, latin, blues, etc., etc., etc. and this is one of my favorites of all time. Ana sings with such passion, that even though I don't understand spanish, I feel the emotion and some songs want to make you cry. Of course we all know that music is the universal language and this CD amongst many others just proves it.

I first bought this CD Mi Mexico and became her big fan.
After that I bought almost all CDs of hers but still this Mi Mexico is my favorite.
This means after this CD I have had many little disapointment every time I bouth her CDs. Other CDs are also good. But this Mi Mexico is so special than others.

Brandy's latest album, "Never Say Never", is evertything I expected and even more! When I bought the album I was so overwhelmed with excitement, and after I listened to it for the first time, I couldn't stop playing it. I ruined my first CD and bought another one. Her raspy, melodic voice is more beautiful than can be explained. The power behind her voice when she sings an emotional song, such as "Tomorrow" makes you think back to a similar time in your life because of the way she feels her music. The tones in her voice are powerful and the way she harmonizes her sounds just make you wonder where a gift like this can come from. Her runs and adlibs are exceptional! They don't sound like someone made them up just for a certain phrase in a song, but they run smoothly like they were already written in the song. I give nothing but probs to Brandy for her much deserved success and I thank her for being a part of my life!

This album is definitely more sophisticated then her last one. I love its smooth tunes, breat taking lyrics. This is one of those albums where u can listen to every song over and over again. The only complaint that I had was that I wished she used her vocal range more and added alittle more soul.But besides that I couldn't ask for more from a artist.

When had frist heard the cd I was like this girl can really sing. Becaue I have never heard a voice like hers it was just so powerful. That I was just like I want to be just like her when get older I am just so proud her that Iwish my voice was like hers.

One of my all-time favorite LP's, not just from the 60's but overall! Truly a classic.
Even the weaker cuts are not enough to drop this below a 5 Star Rating.

Why this is so difficult to find on CD is beyond me. Even though I own the LP twice and even burned a copy onto CD, I
went as far purchasing the Rhino Box Set to get a Factory-burned CD.

What would make Once Upon A Dream the perfect Rascals LP/CD is if How Can I Be Sure, People Got To Be Free & A Beautiful Morning were included as well.

1968-The Rascals do it again, only this time the band shows its utmost versatility with outstanding arrangements (Singing the Blues Too Long) lyric content, and the groups ultimate message-World Peace at a time when the world was holding its breath. Yes The Rascals-Americas very own Beatles, but with much more soul, funk, and kick ass Rock & Roll. We prayed for more!

Are you a real fan of The Young Rascals? A collector of Rascals memorabillia? Then you've got to get this cd. It is a must have! Out of all of their albums (from 1965 To 1971) this one is their BEST.

SO WHAT if you don't understand Spanish? Most foreigners that listen to American or British rock music can;t put two English words together. Still, it's the music and the vibes that count. In these days of disposable pop, this album is one of those rare finds in which ALL THE SONGS ARE GOOD!! This was my first Charly Garcia CD. I'd never heard him or his songs, but had heard of him, so I took a gamble, bought the CD and I never looked back! My recommendation is to buy (almost) anything this man has recorded between 1972 and 1991. Skip the 90's for the most part, and check out his latest "Rock and Roll Yo" (2004). Try to buy the digitally remastered version. The sound quality and synths sound a bit aged by now, but the music is still good. Just remember that the Beatles, even at the top of their career, still recorded on inferior recording equipment. Sgt. pepper's was recorded on a 4 track recorder!

If you like Fatboy Slim, Chemical Bros and that type of music, you will love this CD. I can honestly say that it is VERY rare that I like every track on a disc, but I can listen to this CD the whole way through over and over. It flows beautifully, the beats are smooth and fly. It really doesn't get much better. A+!

Dj tonka, is awsome. I have had this cd for over a year and it is still my favorite house cd that I own. I have over 300. There is only one bad thing and that is track 10. The begining is real slow.

This is the classic of the house music, although at the same time it is very special. He is really a genius in making house music. In Europe house is very popular these days, and he is one of the best artist in the world of house.

This is a mesmerizing journey into Milton's World: a world like no other, with music so idiomatic that no one else could do it or attempt to do it. Milton is a "World Music Treasure" unto himself (sorry, Brasil, he belongs to all of us) and, four decades into his career, he continues to produce fresh, beautiful music that excites, fascinates, and invigorates the mind. The music on this CD is almost visually aural in it's intensity: one can almost see it floating, undulating, and spinning in front of us, defying capture.

Milton performs alone and with three awesome female vocal guests. The Grammy winning daughter of Elis Regina, the stunning Maria Rita; the brilliant "Santa Rosa songbird" Simone Guimaraes; and the wonderous Marina Machado. Trust me, they more than hold their own with Milton, which is probably why he invited them to sing with him. Indeed the haunting duet with Maria Rita on "Tristesse" won a Latin Grammy in 2003. The title song, "Pieta" is fantastic with Milton spinning unusual key changes amid the insistent martial beat. Marina Machado's anguished middle-eastern flavored cries on "Pieta" are so poignant it almost transports us back in time. The pulsating starkness of "Boa Noite" is off set by Simone's beautiful voice, trading verses with Milton before joining him in unison and scatting on the arc of her voice to the end. The very beautiful "Vozes Do Vento" (Voices of the Wind) concludes with all three female guests singing with much gusto with Milton, amid double stops above the percussion and chorus. And Milton on ANY ballad on this CD is worth the price of admission alone. Don't forget to check out Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny with Milton on "Canteloupe Island", it's very cool.

There is so much fresh, beautiful, and varied music on this CD, it will take a while to digest the whole thing. If you have never heard Milton Nascimento, this would be a great place to start. It's all in Portuguese but the words are almost besides the point. This is a one way ticket into Milton's world and it's awesome. Get this one fast. It's hot. Five Big Stars!!

Pieta is a beautiful work, and another example of how Milton Nascimento has returned to form in recent years. He is arguably Brazil's greatest vocalist and one of its most talented songwriters, and of course was absolutely brilliant from the late '60s through the early '80s. He then hit a long slump with many overproduced albums that had superstar guests, too much "light jazz," and few notable songs. He returend to form with the brilliant "Nascimento" (1997) and has been mostly on track ever since. For more information about this remarkable artist, I would recommend reading the book "The Brazilian Sound" by McGowan and Pessanha, available through amazon.com. It has almost an entire chapter devoted to Milton.

I heard this album on a flight from Miami to Sao Paulo (TAM Airlines), not knowing who the artists were or when it was produced. Totally captivated by its musical breadth and beauty, I never changed the audio channel and let it cycle over and over until I landed 6 hours later. Some of the songs are still in my head. One need not know Portuguese to understand the emotion and feeling in these songs; the artists' voices alone will carry you along. That someone like Nascimento, who has been making music for so long, could come up with something so fresh is truly amazing; and his artistic companions on this disc were perfectly chosen.

Rene Aubry is worth being discovered. His guitar is excellent. An exciting experience for any kind of listener.

Simply the BEST new age electronic musician that very few people know about. I have all of his CD's. This is the best

I truly admire to Doro and her work, but this CD is a way off the track. Warlock's fans - strongly avoid it.

This Doro album starts with an excellent song "Do You Like It?" which have sexual lyrics about buyable sex company. The lyrics: "Would you like it in your bed, Would You Like It in Your Head, Would You Like It on the Phone, You Must Cause You're All Alone...". That's a hard one...I have to say. The other songs I like: "Pain"...that song is so powerful and real hard rock. I also like the songs "Love in Me Black" and "Like an Angel" which both are peaceful ballads. Half of the songs are ballads and half of the songs are hard rock songs with the power. Many of the songs have the feeling and the sounds of Nine Inch Nails...especially "Terrorvision" and "Barracuda"...if NIN's vocalist would sing that it would be just like songs in their two first albums. Doro is still my favourite female hard rock vocalist but this isn't near her best albums.
Stars: Do You Like It?, Love Me in Black

If you love lyrics that challenge your imagination, stir you emotions, or that inspire you to do more with your life, then you will surely love this album. Doro Pesch is an incredibly talented Rock vocalist, and her voice will definately draw you further into her music. She sings with much passion and conviction that is lacking in many of today's singers. The music is superb, and you will want to hear it many times over. Doro is very much a perfectionist in what she does, and this album is viable proof of her many talents. Be good to yourself, and buy "Love Me In Black" for your own music collection.
