This CD is great. Control es el unico grupo que tiene la habilidad de transmitir tan buena vibra tanto en el ecenario como en sus CD's. Su ritmo es tan contagiante que si no te hace bailar, te hace que muevas alguna parte del cuerpo. Son sensacional, de veras los recomiendo, ya que el Tao, Tao se ha convertido en un himno para los que les gusta bailar norteno. No solo esta cancion sino todas.

This CD is filled with the best cumbias ever made, and the best huapango (La Perra Ronosa). The best songs are Cumbia Con La Luna, Maria Salome, Tao Tao, Tu No Me Lo Das, Sombrerito Blanco, and El Brinquito de la Perra Ronosa. If you love to dance, and if you love Tejano, then you'll love this CD. YOU'VE GOT TO BUY IT!!!

I've just returned from three months in the Sertao region of Bahia Brasil. Que legal! I stumbled upon Afrocyberdelia through a friend and immediately went to the loja de discos to see what else this master of fusion had to offer.

What did I find? Da lama ao caos! This masterpiece of ear candy that blends just about every type of rhythm-full music you can imagine.

If you can score the double disc set (I imagine it will be available here soon), grab it also. It has some great B-sides, live stuff and great mixes by some of the best Drum and Bass/Jungle DJs as well as the master himself, David Byrne. Get it? Got it? Good!

I am a huge afficionado of brasilian music. I have over 70 brasilian cd's and I must admit that with the exception of Afrociberdelia (chico science and nacao zumbi's second outing) this is without a doubt the best cd of the bunch. It is filled to the brim with more sounds than anyone should be able to fit into a single cd. Very highly recomended. If you speak portuguese then pay special attention to the lyrics because they are awesome.

Chico Science & Na??o Zumbi knows how to play drums. The Brazil's heart beats are beating in your ears when you listen to it! I can talk about it. I'm brazillian.

I hope this single brings a-ha back to the US charts. It certainly has the potential: a catchy melody, thumping bass, a dance groove, and Morten Harket's angelic voice! Seriously, this song will make you want to shake your booty. It's one of those songs that makes you hit "repeat" on your CD player. If you thought a-ha was a one-hit wonder from the 80s, you are in for a great surprise! Buy this single and you won't regret it! Better yet, but the whole "Lifelines" album (where this song is from.) It's a more mature a-ha... and incredibly enjoyable!

That's just what a group of us did over the summer, as this track was played on the dance floor of a Washington D.C. night club! What a track! "Doubtful, but not hopeless" is not only a phrase woven throughout the chorus, but also explains the band's current situation in the U.S. market! Very sad indeed as this talented trio deserves a shot on the charts once again. Forget 'Take on Me'... Casey, we want this track!! Number one hit with a bullet!

I waited about six weeks for Amazon to get this single out - but it was definitely worth the wait. All of the mixes are interesting - different but not so different that the original song is unrecognizable. Also, the video for the tune, taped during and around their June concert in Norway is excellent. It's fairly basic but still fun to watch. This single is definitely a must have for any fan.

I highly recommend checking out this live offering from Rush.

It nicely covers every period of the band. The last disc is a show from the late 70's. Everything else is taken from their 90's tours.

I know there are a ton of other live Rush releases but I've only heard 'All The World's a Stage' (excellent), 'Exit Stage Left' (one of my personal favorites, and 'Different Stages' (another top notch release).

Stand out performances on 'Stages' are 'Roll the Bones' (awesome performance), 'Spirit of Radio' (they somehow manage to raise this incredible song to another level), and 'Natural Science' (I've never heard the studio version but it's a fantastic live song).

Add it along with 'A Farewell to Kings' and 'Fly by Night' and enjoy.

I have both the US and Japanese releases of Different Stages. The main differences are:

1) A lot of Japanese text on the Japanese version. Go figure.
2) Tour book from the AFTK tour
3) One bonus track, Force Ten. This is a good version of this song, but not worth forking over the $$$ for this set unless you are a hardcore fan.

If you ARE a hardcore fan, the tourbook is the real reason to get this set. NOTE: I have heard that subsequent Japanese issues of this DO NOT INCLUDE the tourbook, so caveat emptor.

Now, about the sound quality of the two version. Let me tell you, it is EXACTLY THE SAME. How do I know? Because I ripped disc1 from both releases and compared the audio in a high-end sound editor. Guess what? They were identical.

Totally worth the not-so-high-price it costs.
This three disc album is a one-set yesterday and today live compilation. It shows the listener how the canadian trio evolved through twenty years of musical career without loosing a bit of its power and strength.
Cover art is also wonderful, especially the inner pages containing images of a full set of collectibles any Rush fan would love owning.

Well I'm spanish myself ... only problem is that I don't speak the language nor understand it that much ... but just listening to this cd and all of DLG's songs just puts me in a mood to get up and dance and not stop until every song is over. I live in NY ... Buffalo, NY to be exact and I really never hear these guys out here. They're just a great group and If you're looking for a new salsa direction, these guys are it. Great Collection although in my mind I would've put a few other songs on there such as Sueltame and Eres Mi Vida.

Locked-down in rush hour I-95 traffic on my way to or from work, DLG comes on, I want to jump out of my car and snatch the guy next to me in his linen suit out of his 740i and dance down the aisles of traffic; wedding ring or not.

Great music and a killer sound system is the only way to beat hot traffic in Miami. DLG is a must.

Dark Latin Groove - this name says it all about what you are going to hear. By the hand of Sergio George these 3 guys (Huey Dunbar, Fragancia and Da Barba) moved the Salsa sound to the next step. Influences from Hip-Hop,R&B,Funky bass lines and Latin Rythms makes this album the recopilation of the best and last moments of DLG Salsa.

I think salsa history changed since DLG appeared because it came with a very mature idea on the way of mixing new and old sounds (electronic vs. acoustic) putting the best that every instrument have to offer in a continous "descarga".

For me DLG is like a very concentrate sauce(salsa) with a touch of great vocals and amazing musical arranges. You will never feel tired of hearing this CD again and again.

Great for dance, play or when you're stuck in a traffic jam!. It could be a good choice to those who want to start listening to salsa music but have a background in Funky-R&B styles.

5 Stars for all of the tracks.

To Celebrate the tenth anniversary of their first recording, the Venezuelan Ska band Desorden P?blico revises the music they made from 1988 to 1990. This album features most of the tracks from their first two albums, plus many alternate versions, remixes, dubs, new versions, and live tracks. Everything was mixed or recorded anew. Still, it clearly captures their naive 2 tone roots, plus early excursions into funk, jazz and african rhythms. All in Spanish. These guys rule!

Desorden is one of my favorite bands ever. They are SKA with a twist of Caribbean flavor. Energetic, funky, and contagious! Desorden P�blico is a great mix of original sounds with intelligent lyrics. They are as exotic as the place where they came from, Venezuela. I recommend them to everyone. Don't miss it!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you mix beer,dark rum and a bit of cajun pepper in a glass? Well, that's what Desorden Publico is all about! Funky ska played with incredible energy. It makes you want to stand up and dance until there's is no more energy left in your body. Great sounds, good and funny lyrics, and nice vibes are mixed on this CD. Don't think twice, just get it and call your buddies for a great party!

I've had this cd from the first month it came out - music still holds up to this day. Originally I purchased it due to the artist's uncanny resemblance to Morrissey.

I drifted away so many times during my massage that I lost track of time completely, extremely relaxing. My favorite, so far, is 'the Eotvos passionale'. More, I want more!

Enjoyable, thought provoking, transformational unique listening. It is just the type of music that I have been looking for.

Drowned World is a beautiful song by itself that talk about fame and love. Sky Fits heaven is my favorite fast song from Ray Of Light, next one is Skin. Sky Fits is also very spiritual and talkes about gospels, faith, and her traveing down this road. I was so excited that she sang this at the Drowned World Tour. Can't wait for the Reinvention tour to hit the stores!!!! I highly recommend this CD if you want to dance you butt off!!!

Just like the Ray Of Light single (pt.2) this is better than pt.1!!!!! Pt.2 always seems to be better. Comments:

OH!!! What can i say but ...buy it !! I really think this cd will be one of your best of all time. Its mine. Great guitar and voice. Every song is full of passion. Pino at his best.

The best part of this live cd is the audience who sings along to nearly every word. The great love the audience has of Pino Daniele is charming and heartfelt and the perfect compliment to the outstanding music that can be heard on this cd. Pino Danieles' most popular songs can be found here and the acoustic version of "Napule 'e" is reason enough to buy this title.

I was 28 years old, in Italy inside a car crammed with other young people, all Italian except myself. There were three men, including myself and five beautiful women. We were on the way to a disco on the beach. A song comes on the radio and all the women start singing along to the words and a moment later the whole car was singing. I asked who was singing and the girls said all together "Pino Daniele!"
You may be able to learn Italian phrases or visit St. Peters in Rome, but you haven't experienced Italian hospitality until you mention you like Pino Daniele, they will love you for it.
He is popular, and every Italian knows his music. Pino Daniele is held dear to the hearts of most Italians and I would compare him to Billy Joel. Just as everyone here knows a Billy Joel song, everyone in Italy knows a Pino Daniele song.

This is a must have! I've you're considering to explore the music of Pino Daniele, this is the one to start with. It's a great 'unplugged' overview of his music and will give you an idea of his abilities both as a songwriter and a guitarist. This is a good one to start with. After this one you'll probably want the others aswell. I did anyway!

Esta grabacion representa una epoca: 1975. En aquel entonces este disco, sobrepaso a Raphael "Cuando Tu No Estas" como el disco de mayor venta en Puerto Rico en toda la historia, hasta entonces. En la Espana de Franco, no era desafiante, pero en Latinoamerica, toco un emocion grandisima en el romanticismo. Precedido por A Flor de Piel (pueden considerarse Vol 1 & 2) este dio a conocer a Julio como un interprete de renombre que quedaria por mucho tiempo en nuestra nostalgia. Me trae buenos recuerdos de mocedad en la Universidad. Recomendado!
