this cd is perfect for people who love quality music. The songs are sharp, clear, and original in sound. i wan to say that I found the cd by luck. I am happy I found it and am waiting for the next cd. i usually don't buy cds, buy recommend this cd to all!

I've been following desvio since 97' when they release their first song wich was "en mis brazos" and this album it's a worth buy fans of moenia or depeche mode will love this album although desvio has a unique sound unlike other bands. My favorite tracks on this album are Si Me Dejas & No Mas this tracks are very dancey but definetely I loved the whole album.. also if you liked this band check other bands like moenia,OBK,Santuario,Cetu Javu.

This CD is great all the way through! The vocals take what DLG started and take it to a new greater level that brings Salsa into a new era. This is a GREAT CD!

I didn't know much about htis group, i had heard A Puro dolor a few times on the radio. This cd is EXCELLENT> I would not say it if it wasn't. I have bought some terrible cds, and this is one that is just amazoning. It i ssoooo neat. It reminds me of DLG, but is not a copy or anything. It has the neatest salsa rhythms, and there is a lot of talent in the singing. My favorite new salsa group. You will not be disappointed!

great music, great album, & you will love it too

Sopa de caracol, conch soup in english is wonderful to listen to! the beat is infectious and the lyrics take you away to some tropical destination. punta ROCK started in belize but punta started in the bay islands of honduras. honduras' bay islanders speak english and many are decendents of the english that colonized there. belize was known as BRITISH HONDURAS, coincedence?? i think not. belize was an extension of honduras. punta has the same heritage as raggae and other african inspired music, the rock part is a part added in belize......... don't mislead people without explaining the whole history, there's a REASON punta is most popular in HONDURAS, it's history is rooted there.....the music is beautiful even without the rock part.

If you are from Honduras, it's so probable you're gonna feel so proud when you listen this band, because it identifies us deeply. Sopa de Caracol has a contagious rythm that invite you to move your hips, sweet and cheer with your friends. If you want a caribbean ingredient in your party, play this song and you'll see inmediat results. The vocalist of this band is Pilo Tejeda who was my neighbor when I was a child in my hometown, El Progreso, that is a little and beautiful city in the north of Honduras.

I love to listen to Banda Blanca. They are the best way to start your day. These guys can do no wrong. They motivate the energy in yourself and can get yourself reved up even on a Monday

This CD is perfect for teaching rhythm. I have used it with grades 2 through 5 in identifying rhythms. They are able to layer in ostinato patterns along with the instruments playing on the CD. I saw Inner Visions live in St John USVI. They were amazing. It is a rare find to have a quality roots reggae band these days when all I seem to here is dancehall. I guarnatee after one listen you will be hooked and selling them to all your friends.

Inner Visions is a seasoned and talented roots reggae band well worth a listen! Sha-La-La was a big hit in the islands; also check out Cool Reggae Rhythm, Good Lovin, Everybody Talks, etc.......I highly recommend all their music for it's positive message. It makes you move to the heartbeat wherever you may be! Buy this, but...see them LIVE!

It's startling to hear the likes of the standard 'Take Me to the Carnival' on the same disc as the modern 'Brown-Eyed Girl' and 'Greensleeves': only the Toucans could pull off such strong representations and keep the rhythms flowing between Henry Mancini, Van Morrison and the Caribbean islander Lord Kitchener.

This cd is an excellent escape to white-sanded beaches, wind-blown palmettos, and the smell of sun tan oil. Although there are a couple of tracks that get somewhat long and monotonous, the entire cd is nothing short of "feel good!"

After I listened to this album for the first time, I wasn't really sure why I bought it. Yes, there were a few songs that appealed to me right away, but all in all nothing out of ordinary.

Obviously I wasn't paying attention.

As with all great albums this one "got under my skin" after a few times I played it, and now it seems that its always within my favorite 20 CD which I listen to all the time. Anna Oxa has the most interesting voice. Its chilling, powerful, strong but subtle and gentle at the same time. Beside this album I also have Anna Oxa's "Senza piet�" and I warmly recommend both of them.

Among the great Italian singers Anna Oxa is maybe the greatests! I bought this album two years ago and I have been listening it almost every single day. Possible the greatest album of greatest Italian singer. After this one I got Senza pieta, and the leatest Eterno movimento! Great work, especially the last one!!!

Oxa, one of the greatest Italian singers of our times gives all of her talent in performing these songs. While the songs are excellent, it is almost worth buying the CD just to listen to how she can use her voice to express more than the music and the words could have ever delivered if sang by someone else.

Intocable-- como empezar con algo tan bonito y talentoso? No hay forma de esplicar Intocable! La cancion "Suena" es maravilloso!! Escuchalo y te lo aseguro que no te repentes!!

It just hard to describe how great this CD is. I've been a fan of Intocable for a long time and everytime they produce another CD I purchase it. I have all of their CDs. Intocable, su estilo de interpretar la musica norte�a en una forma romantica, ha sabido conquistar nuestros corazones. Se nota su entraga y dedicacion en cada cancion. No solamente me encanta su estilo de musica, pero los temas de las canciones, las cosas bonitas que dicen. Aunque la mayor�a de los temas son tristes, pero las canciones son muy bonitas que te llegan al corazon. La cancion que me gusto mas fue "Sue�a".

This CD shows that Intocable was not just a one hit wonder. Since their stardom, Intocable has been one of the leading tejano/mexican groups of the 90's and now the new millenia. Houston welcomes Intocable to this years RODEO. This CD has great songs and has fast become one of my favorites. I recommend to buy.

As far as I'm concerned, this was my favorite album of 2000 -- and I buy 7-10 CDs a week.

Subtle, lovely, swinging, profound, utterly fresh, dark, unclicheed, poignant music. It's rooted in Jewish melodies, but you don't have to be Jewish to dig this record. If the acoustic meditations of Ralph Towner, Michael Hedges, John Abercrombie -- or David Crosby! -- speak to you, pick up this record. It's a revelation.

First there was Pierre Bensusan, then I discovered Phill Keaggy, now the Holy Guitartrinity is complete! Tim Sparks proves that listening to one single guitar (with a minimum of guest instrumentalist)can be a wonderfull experience. The album gets better and better. He doesn't show off, he is just that good. Actually you don't here the guitar after a while, just music, music deep rooted in different cultures. Togheter with Nice Feelings (Bensusan) and Beyond Nature (Keaggy) is Tanz a pearl for the acoustic guitar listener; buy it.

This recording follows close on the heels of Neshamah - Sparks' exploration of traditional Jewish music. This time around, he has enlisted the help of two veterans of John Zorn's Masada: Greg Cohen on bass, and Cyro Baptista on percussion. Simply put, the recording is wonderful. Sparks is at home with all meters and tempos and has a rare facility with unusual time signatures. His tone on the guitar is rich and his technique is astounding. There is gorgeous interplay between the three musicians. This music is complex, thoughtful, and full of life.

This is a wonderful cd for people who love tangos...Libertad Lamarque had her own unique style and she expressed her music in a manner full of emotion and from the heart!

Libertad Lamarque will always be in the memory of those who have listened to her or seen her work as an actress. This album is a really golden collection of her "tango" singing. Once you listen to her, you'll play this CD over and over again.

I've had Libertad Lamarque's album Tangos Imortales on vinyl since my mother gave it to me as a birthday present in 1975. In fact I live near the street where the now defunct record shop where mom bought it was! I was thrilled to hear this fine LP is available now on CD. To be honest, I didn't listen to the CD since I know all the songs by heart and it's in mono anyway. Did you know in the TV movie Evita Peron Rita Moreno's charcter was based on Libertad Lamarque? Her legendary battles with star-turned-politcian Eva Peron got her exiled to Mexico. Argetntina's loss is the world's gain. I especially liked the male vocalist on Cantando and Adios Muchachos later became the english language song I Get Ideas. A Media Luz is fun to listen but Plegaria is the most dramatic song on the album(as if the album needed a dramatic song) and it's not sampled on this website! Oh well!The lady died on Dec. 12 at aged 92 in Mexico City. Having worked for over 70 years she will be missed but her recordings will go on. Tangos Imortales is not to be missed by ANY music fans
