Beauty in the Beat is a rare drumming album---it really is about the beauty and musicality of drumming. The listener is invited into the music through many doorways --- through sonic massage that deeply relaxes, through dance and movement that uplifts, through deep listening that nourishes. One of the best drumming releases available.

This album is like a shamanic journey and sounds the best with headphones on. I listen to it when I want to relax and zone out. It's very dynamic and beautiful.

I bought this because I'm a die hard TT/Babble fan. It's not bad for what it is, but this isn't what the fans want. What we want is Tom to come back with a band that write great songs. I think his voice is very relevant - look at the 80's bands doing well: Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, A-ha. It's time for Tom, Alanah and Joe to seriously consider a TT reunion. If they don't do it now they'll miss the opportunity. Synth rock is popular again. Look at the Killers, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, etc. Come on Tome, forget this 'dub' nonsense , re-form the Twins and lets have some FUN !

I have to agree with the previous two posters. Tom has an excellent voice and has a great talent for writing very catchy pop. I wish he'd come back to the U.K. and start a project...although I do respect his right to make the music he is intrested in.

I think this album is an excellent collection of tracks, it's pure, fluid, mellow, and takes you through an array of sounds and motions like nothing else in my collection, and quite frankly deserves to be in your hands too. As for die hard Thompson Twins and Babble fans, so am I, BUT, this has to be some of the best work that iv'e heard from Tom Bailey for many years. A thoroughly polished result (compared to past albums from Babble,) "SEEN" has to be the new way forward for Tom. 10/10 in my opinon, Thompson Twins are still missed but quite frankly darlings, let's get over it. Thankyou for growing up with me Tom since 1984, and cannot wait to get my hands on "All Played Out".XXX
