My kids love this CD. They like the stories and it puts my daughter to sleep very quickly. They prefer the ocean version, but they also like this one as well. The stories are the same, only in different environments. I'd recommend this CD to any parent.

My 3 1/2 year old has always had a difficult time getting to sleep. This CD has helped her so much! She used to listen to quiet music but she had a hard transitioning from being up/reading books to laying still and listening to music so she would often roll around and talk to herself and get herself wound up. We tried stories on tape but she would stay awake and listen to the whole story and then still be awake! This is the perfect combination. The short stories at the beginning (I think 5 stories about 5 minutes each) are active enough that she listens to them rather than plays. They are active in that they talk to her and ask her to participate but the talk is about relaxation--the snake learns to hold his body still, the turtle takes deep breaths--so they encourage her to lie still and relax while still feeling involved in the story. Quiet music plays after the stories. I have yet to peek on her and find her awake even 5 or 10 minutes into the music--a huge improvement for this child!

I wish I had read the 1 ratings before purchasing this item, but it was so highly rated I bought it without hesitation. It was a complete waste of money. I listened to it and thought, "This isn't very relaxing," but didn't say a word. I then played it for my 7 year old daughter after she took a bath and crawled into bed, and she immediately crinkled up her nose and said, "weird!" Then she laughed at the ridiculous thought of listening to it. It was creepy and weird, and she gets spooked easily, scared of "monsters under the bed," etc, so I immediately stopped the CD because I can imagine such a creepy voice could inspire nightmares and fear.

I then played the Indigo Ocean Dreams for kids age 6 and up and although it is also weird - the first story is about an "angry octopus," the voice is better and my daughter was willing to listen to it. However, I would not recommend either one.

If you get this, do not play it for your child alone. Stay with your child and listen together.

My daughter has been having unexplanined panic attacks. I picked this CD up at a school psychologist conference to give it a try. The results are amazing. My daughter has learned to use the techniques presented in the story when she feels an attack coming on. The breathing and positive statements are her favorite. I have listened with her and we both find the speakers voice to be soothing and reassuring. The music is an added bonus. The adorable factor is high with the use of a bear breathing, a turtle floating, and a caterpillar stretching out as he used progressive muscular relaxation....wonderful visuals for any child.

Roberta Shapiro's CD, Sleep Solutions, helps my kids fall asleep and stay asleep. They love her voice and don't want to go to bed without listening to her CD. This CD is a blessing!

I highly recommend Roberta Shapiro's CD. As a busy mother of three, I have trouble falling asleep at night, and falling back to sleep after waking up multiple times during the night. This CD really relaxes me and helps me fall asleep. It is amazing!

This is a wonderful CD to help get to sleep. Roberta's voice is quite soothing and I have fallen asleep to it on many occasions. Well worth the money.

I didn't enjoy it, she's talking to low for you to hear. I'm using it for trying to get to sleep, and I can't understand what she's saying, so therefore, I have to get up and turn the volume up on some of the tracks.

I have been following his music for a couple of years . I have never been disappointed with his new releases.

Wow, found this by accident.
I heard one song and really liked it.
I bought the songs and listen to them on my ipod.
It really puts me into such a relaxed state and the music is actually complex for how simple it sounds.
Sometimes it feels like the songs make vibrations and I get a sense of well being.

I feel really moved by the songs and some times they make me cry.
Its a good cry though.

This is a excelent CD. I had a hernia operation and was having trouble resting. The music helped me relax and rest.

The title of this CD says it all for me. I listened to this music over and over (on my ipod) one long night while in the hospital getting a blood transfusion following surgery. It calmed me and allowed me to drift off to sleep but was there when I was awakened. I am not as eloquent as describing the music as others have but I am very glad to have had this CD to help me through a long night.

This is an excellent cd for any relaxation time; whether it be with a client or not. Even the inside jacket has interesting information making it an added educational feature.

For nearly a year now i've been buying MP3 albums off of Amazon for use as a massage therapy student, and of all of the albums i've purchased this is in my top 10 list. One thing i've realized is the importance of good music for a massage therapy setting. Different music is good for different types of massage, but this one is superb for many. The sound is great, the use of the instruments is expertly done, and the flow is exquisite. I highly recommend this CD for relaxation and massage.

I first heard of Ottmar Liebert a few years ago from The Sharper Image guitar compilation album but never really looked for his albums. These past few weeks I've been searching for his albums not finding much luck with FYE or Best Buy. I got this album from Amazon and was very pleased and surprised. Silence: No More Longing is perhaps one of my favorite tracks. An excellent album to chill out and relax to.

Another marvelous album by Ottmar Liebert! Whenever I play it, I always make certain to hit "Repeat"!

Ottmar is always good, consistent and technically excellent. I found it lacked the special edge that his first releases had and was a little the same on each track.I am still pleased I purchased it.His fans will not be disappointed.

Ottmar does it again. The sounds are crisp and the tempo is one of a kind. I never get tired to listening to this cd. A big fan and it's nice to hear without the brass this time around. Highly recommended!

I turn my cable tv station to the soundscape channel when I want to relax and I have been finding that a lot of beautiful music I would not normally hear on the radio or tv or otherwise is on this channel. I dont know who this man is but he is very talented and touches the soul. This is one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life and it made me feel so good. I am buying them for Xmas gifts to give to friends.

Given the reviews on this, I am apparently alone in my dislike of this CD. I just received it today, and "tried" to listen to it, however found myself needing to shut it off about half way through due to one repetitive annoying bird that chirped the same chirp like a broken record.

That being said, I own 2 other CDs by this company (Thunderstorm and Ocean Waves) and they are Excellent. It was because I loved Thunderstorm so much that I ordered Ocean Waves and Morning Songbirds!

I still say this company makes great nature sound CDs, but I'm going to send this one back. As Simon would say ... "SORRY!"

I read a review before I bought this disc that said it was "uneven in spots." I'm glad I didn't listen and got this anyway.

First of all, if it WAS uneven, well, that's nature for you. I have heard nature disc compilation imitations with looping noises and it was anything but soothing and relaxing. I welcome the spontaneous nature of the outdoors. The only thing I can think of when this observation was made is that the tracks artfully blend together so well could be mistaken as a quieter spot. I am actually quite grateful for the fact that they make the tracks "melt" because my mind doesn't get taken from the relaxed state it has fallen into and brought to the attention of a track change. Even though there are different themed tracks, they fade out and then in so gently that you wouldn't know that they're changing.
I give it an A+.
I've never heard rain drops and birdsong with so much clarity in the comfort of my living room. You forget where you are.

This album is very crisp, clear and so enjoyable to listen to. I love it! The songs of the birds are very soothing and calming and can be listened to all day. It is a very beautiful album. It is also a great price! This is for sure worth every penny!

This cd brings back pleasant memories of my childhood. I find it very meditative and relaxing.

I bought a couple of nature's sound cd's to use with a clock radio (cd and mp3 included) I also bought through Amazon.com (my favorite store). They work. It's a great way to calm down and go to sleep and conversely to wake up to nature and not a buzzzzzzzer.

This is a really nice introduction to Jesse Cook, I don't think there is a bad song in the bunch.
I have just recently learned I really like this kind of music I bought a Rodiguio & Gaberila (spelling) cd, I loved it, I was hooked, started looking at flamenco in Amazon and Jesse kept coming up, and, yes I liked his clips best. so, yep, this is more than worth the price of admission.

Jesse is simply awesome. Can't really get too much of him, but for some reason I can't stand track 13 Toca Orilla. Must be me. This is a 2cd set so one bad song out of 26 isn't bad hey?

Thirteen dollars for almost 2 hours of Jesse Cook's music is an opportunity that you should not miss.
If you are already a fan of his work you will be thrilled by this collection. If you are new to his work you should buy this to introduce yourself to this marvelous artist.

Ok...I have been listening to Enigma for years! I've tried other artists that were supposed to have the "same" type sound...NO COMPARISON IN ANY WAY SHAPE, FORM OR FASHION!! They don't even touch his style and genious in any way! All of his songs are just pure sensuality in my mind...deep beats, hypnotic voices, other worldly evoking feelings...Michael Cretu is just the bomb...LOL don't know what else to say! YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH ANY OF HIS ALBUMS...TRUST ME!!!

this is the best compilation by Enigma, and probably the best lounge, or chill out music out there now (or what i personally call "sex music") besides the Buddha Bar albums. the tunes and songs are amazing to listen to for hours; i have compiled all the songs in one single continuous mp3 song and have it on my iphone everywhere i go. this cd should be in anyone's collection if you like this kind of music.

And so, this is music at times invigorating, at times relaxing, but at all times captivating and thought provoking.

Good to dance to, drink and read to, make love to and eat to and meditate on. All around nice and very creative. Highly recommended.

Well, it's a CD full of music from Enigma as written by Michael Cretu. So, if you always hated his use of chant, or his wife talking over the sounds, don't buy it. But, if you have ever wondered what else Engima wrote other than popular tunes like Mea Culpa or Sadeness, this CD is full of truly wonderful music - especially lesser known cuts like TNT For The Brain, Modern Crusaders or Principles of Lust. Cretu mixes sounds like no one else and the result is almost completely mesmerizing and alive with his view of life. This one is probably one of my top 3 of all time and I'm a Boomer.

Derek Trucks is a superb guitarist, although probably not the most animated musician you'll ever see. I really liked the variety of this band's music. Video & audio quality are good. I'd love to see Derek and wife Susan (Tedeschi) in a joint effort (other than in Clapton's "Crossroads"). Worth adding to your video collection.

This DVD causes me to willingly lose two hours each time I turn it on. My musical life is forever changed due to them. Excellent!

Musically, this man is way beyond his years. He has pulled together and maintained an excellent band. After watching the DVD keep it playing for some fine listening

This is an outstanding concert that was filmed at The Park West in Chicago on January 28, 2006. The music is very "soulful", "jazzy", "smooth", "jam-oriented", and "spontaneous and improvised" at times. The band is very talented and work very well together as musicians.

The line-up consists of: Derek Trucks on lead guitar(he plays excellent guitar work including slide guitar play), Todd Smallie on bass and vocals, Yonrico Scott on drums and percussion and vocals, Kofi Burbridge on keyboards, flute and vocals, Mike Mattison on Lead Vocals( He is an outstanding vocalist- his vocals flow along with the music just perfect),
and Count M'Butu on congas and percussion. The Band works together "like a well oiled Machnine".

The set list consists of 20 songs (about 2 hours of music), some highlights include: "Joyful Noise", "Key to the Highway", "I'd rather be blind, crippled and crazy", "All I Do", "Sailing On", "Soul Serenade", "For my Brother", "Let's Go Get Stoned", "Voices Inside", and "Anyday".

The encore consists of two more songs. If you like "smooth","jam-oriented", "improvised" "bluey-jazzy" music with excellent lead guitar work, you'll enjoy this one. I highly recommend this concert dvd.

I love the sound of flute's and wind chime, so I found this music very good to relax to, I even keep a copy in my Car.

I have been listen to this CD for years. I often play it when I have my morning tea. Some tracks are peaceful and others very spirited which makes a perfect start to the day. My favorite track is "Dance of the Birds" Just love the way it uplifts my spirit and gets me energized to start my day. I think this would be a great CD to play during energy or massage work!

I had heard one track on this CD and wanted to hear them all. I was pleased as this facilitated my meditating. Excellent.

This CD set is one of my favorites. I bought Spirit Wind on a cassette in the mid 1980's and was glad when I found it on CD. Both CDs are gorgeous and bring my mind to peace.

I just love it. It is beautiful, relaxing music & I would buy other CD's that Richard Warner has out in the future. In Fact, I am listening to it right now. Beautiful.
